3000 years old city!!!

Hello people!

I guess many people in this world love their hometown and I'm among them. I do LOVE my city. Why? I don't have the precise answer for this. Partly for its beauty, partly for all memories I have in this city, partly for its kind nation and for many other reasons.

I'm from Osh, which is the second biggest city in Kyrgyzstan (after Bishkek - our capital city). Although this city doesn't have skyscrapers or huge malls, it is one of the most beautiful cities I know. Osh is more than 3000 years old and is located around the mountain Sulayman (go ahead, and click the link to read about the mountain, because it is not just a mountain. Also you can watch the video of Sulayman mountain below).

I don't want to write a lot, describing my city, because we have saying here in Kyrgyzstan - "Seeing once is better than hearing thousands times". I found these cool videos made by ProAir Studio in Osh. So, just enjoy :)

Sun is Fun!

Hello guys!

So much sun, so much energy, so much happiness!! I hope you all have the same feeling at the moment and for those who don't, I decided to share the joy I have these days :D

I guess you already read about the trip I  was planning to go with my friends, which eventually got cancelled "for some reasons". No one was really upset with that, yet there was one problem. We all were fully excited waiting for plenty of different emotions, which should've come from the 2 day adventure near the Lake on the height of about two thousand meters above the sea level. Since it didn't happen, we all wanted to make something instead of that, so we don't die of boredom -_-.

Not thinking a lot, we all decided to go to the swimming pool near our city the next day (you know sun gives not only happiness). We set the meeting time at 10 AM in the morning (but we ended up gathering only at 12 am). Of course those teens took a lot of hamburgers/sandwiches and one big watermelon (in case if we get hungry or thirsty). You know what is interesting in all of that, we didn't plan anything properly, we just spontaneously did everything. Still, we had an amazing day!

What we did there except swimming? We just decided to remember the childhood :D. Yes, guys at 19 running all around the pool and playing the games of kids seems weird, but it was so much fun! Indeed, every one was staring at us, while we were playing and fighting in the water. But they weren't looking at us as at strange and crazy people, they were also laughing with us. I saw sparkle in everyone's eyes and a desire to just leave everything and start playing with us (even old people). There, I understood that independent of our age, there is a child inside of every one of us. And the thing all adults miss is little bit of craziness :)

Me with my friends. Nice try, isn't it? :D

Of course we followed our tradition :D. Every time we all meet, we play CS1.6 (video game - Counter Strike 1.6). So, at the end of the day we went and spent another couple of hours in one of those computer clubs. Why not? :D
So, yesterday I made myself sure one more time that with my friends, doing everything spontaneously is much more interesting and better, rather than planning everything the days before.

With all good wishes,
Tima

Trip got CANCELLED

Hi peeps!

Hope you are enjoying the summer with all its sweet fruits :) (I can't get enough of all of these). I'm currently at home in my country and I'm going to leave soon (at the end of the summer) to Germany. I know that I'll miss everything here: my family, friends, city, mountains and ALL the rest. I'm trying not to waste every single day (but aint successful all the time).

One of the things that kept me busy the last day is trying to get together with my friends (classmates in high school) and get out for 2 day trip to the Lake Sary-Chelek (you can see the picture below). We had to leave today in the morning according to our plan, but everything crashed yesterday. The reason is ridiculous: we just couldn't organize small bus and food for 2 days! That was the only thing we needed to do. In my opinion that's not the main reason. May be the main reason is that our class wasn't one of those united and organized ones? I think so.

All of us are about 19 years old at the moment. People are trying to get into adults' world as fast as possible at this age (and yes, I'm not the exception). Let me tell you what are my friends doing. Most of my classmates (former classmates) are enrolled to the universities, but couple of them stopped their education and already working somewhere. However now, all the students in my country have a summer break and many of my friends are trying to earn some money in this period or helping their parents at their work. This is one of the main reasons why we can't just gather all together. We gather often and of course every time some people are missing. But there are those people, who are missing all the time. Some of them are abroad and I can understand the reason of their absence. Nevertheless some of them just found "better world". If you are reading this and you are still at high school, remember, there always be some people who will disappear after you graduate (if not all of you). If you already graduated, you can leave a comment bellow this post, it'd be interesting to know how often you meet with your classmates and do you also have those "disappeared" friends. In my opinion, those people didn't feel themselves at ease in high school and just won't return to that environment again.

If you are wondering why my classmates are so important for me, I just want to tell you about the school I graduated. It was Kyrgyz-Turkish lyceum, where pupils study and live 5 days a week. So we studied, lived, played, fought, starved, ate and slept together 5 days a week during the 5 years. So we are not just classmates, we are more than that. Most of these people became my brothers and I don't know if I'll find better friends than those.

Sorry guys for this disorganized post (as our trip plan -_-). The main thing I wanted to tell and wish you are good friends. If you already have them, just stay close and gather more often ;)

Cheeeeerz,
Tima

About Me

Okay, here we go!
In my first blog post I will tell a little about myself and the reason, why I decided to start blogging.

My name is Temirlan and yes, it is long and difficult to pronounce, may be the reason why most of the people call me just Tima. I was born and raised in the country, which is mostly covered by mountains and has few more than 6 millions of people. It was part of the Soviet Union before 1991 and is among developing countries. Most probably you've never heard about my country or at least you didn't know a lot about it before. Kyrgyzstan. Yes, this is my Homeland! Even if it is not as rich and developed as other countries, there are many reasons to love this place. May be I can tell more about it in one of my later posts, but for now, just read Wikipedia page.

Even though I was on the path of Science since entering the high school, I always had a passion for writing, drawing, singing, taking photos and even casting in movies. But I never had time to do any of those seriously. After entering high school I started studying Physics and participating different kind of Olympiads. Even though I was successful at that, I could never see my future in Science. However I started studying Electrical Engineering at Jacobs University after graduating the high school. There I discovered the new world of art - CODING. I switched my major at the beginning of my academic year and now I'm a programmer, at least trying to become one :).

As I told, I'm the person of art and I love writing. This is one of the reasons why I decided to start blogging. Another reason is to look at my life from side and to be able to analyze it better. Nowadays, I do so many things, that I forget to stop and talk with myself (or may be I'm just too lazy to do this). I decided that writing blogs will help me to live better life (this is the reason why I'm not afraid of me being the only person reading my blog).

Today I decided to make a blog and write about interesting things in my life or just things that I want to talk about. I hope there will be people who will enjoy my posts (and of course I'm ready for those BAD comments as well).

I think this is enough for beginning. Thank you for reading and here is the kitten I met recently <3.
